A highlight of our centennial celebrations will be an unveiling of Making Messmer by Frank Miller, a richly illustrated book exploring Messmer's first 100 years.

From its start as a makeshift "Diocesan High School" in 1926, through the "Messmer Miracle" in 1984 when parents fought to repopen the school after its closure was announced, to its emergence today as the leading Catholic high school serving the heart of Milwaukee, Making Messmer is the meticulously researched story of Messmer's people, its promise, and its pride.
