Honors Program
The Honors Program at Messmer High School is designed for students ready to challenge themselves academically. Honors classes encourage growth, build college-level skills, and provide opportunities to earn college credit. Participants explore subjects in greater depth, strengthen their college applications, and demonstrate commitment to their future.
Honors Program Requirements

Take at least 3 Honors classes each year to stay in the pathway

Earn 12 Honors credits to graduate with “HONORS” and a gold cord

Dual Enrollment courses with a C or higher count toward Honors credit

Maintain a C or higher in each class to keep Honors status

3.2 GPA in 9th grade required for program eligibility
