Messmer is also home to a chapter of the National Art Honor Society (NAHS) — a nationally recognized organization celebrating artistic excellence and leadership. NAHS members help promote and grow our school’s art community through projects and events that make art visible across campus and beyond.
Members gain access to exclusive art contests, internships, and scholarships, and can earn rainbow Art Honor cords at graduation. Students also have the opportunity to serve as NAHS Officers, leading creative initiatives and building community through art.
From hallway decorations and community service projects to field trips, guest artists, bake sales, and art showcases, NAHS is full of creative energy — and each year’s members help shape what it becomes.
